Here's a few notes I found backed-up on a disc. I originally had this posted on the lyceum's "DMT World" (RIP) forums for the duration of the journal. I had another one the following month; however, it's whereabouts are unknown. For those unfamiliar (on a personal level) with Salvia, the experiences below are somewhat atypical for many people. She and I have seemed to make an interesting couple.



February 22nd 2005
Dosage: 50mg 10x Non-standardized Extract
Time: Approx. 10:30 pm
Slight euphoria.


February 23rd 2005
Dosage: 75mg 10x Non-standardized Extract
Time: Approx. 11:00 pm
Slight euphoria. Nothing extravagant.


February 26th 2005
Dosage: 100mg 10x Non-standardized Extract
Time: Approx. 11:00 pm
Setting: Low lights. No music. Sitting.
Total distortion. Body appeared to had divided into three distinct variants of "me". Aspect of self tended to float between real self and one of the mirrored selves. Was compelled to stand up and put up smoking apparatus. Door leading to bedroom also fractioned, could not determine which was real door. Hit door on the way out. Rolled several times on bed, somehow managing to remove clothing as is normal routine prior to going to sleep. During episode, I kept hearing repetitions of "Hey Anna". Noted that S. Divinorum is considered to have a feminine spirit. An image my conscious identified as the "Shoney's Bear" kept entering mind.

The following day, I learned of another having experienced the "Hey Anna" voice.

The "reverse tolerance" of S. Divinorum remains as fact. The more you smoke, the greater the potential for effect. This experience lasted approximately 5 minutes in real time. Visual and audio distortions ended. Mild euphoria remained for another 10 minutes.


February 27th 2005
Dosage: 100mg 10x Non-standardized Extract
Time: Approx. 11pm
Setting: Low lights. Ambiance Music. Sitting.


I felt the force descending from above me, going through my head before taking control. Feeling of absolute fear set in. Became unaware of surroundings, of self. Once again, a force compelled me to return smoking apparatus to same location as previous experience. Could not comprehend anything- who I was, where I was...WHY I "was". Surroundings suddenly became identified with past living residence of uncle in TN. No visual hallucinations, I just thought I was there in my mind although I saw my current residence (even though I didn't understand it at the time.) Became identified with my uncle. I had the sensation that I had yet to exhale the inhalation of the Salvia smoke- I tried many times to forcefully expel it, not knowing it had been cleared of my lungs. Image of "Shoney Bear" became noticeable once more. Felt as though I was on the brink of insanity. Kept flailing arms about, shouting "quit it" in an attempt to cease the experience though it did not help. Experiencing the fear and panic that I had, I considered never trying it again.

The experience probably lasted no more than five minutes, as in the previous day. However, the noticeable time lapse affiliated with S. Divinorum made it appear to have lasted much longer. After hallucinations and fear/panic subsided, I was left with a mild euphoric feeling lasting at least 15 more minutes.


March 1st 2005
Dosage: 100mg 10x Non-standardized Extract
Time: Approx. 11pm
Setting: Low lights. Ambiance Music. Lying down.


I decided to give her one more attempt. As per the advice of experience users on internet discussion group, I decided to let myself go with it- releasing all fear. With the inhalation, I closed my eyes, felt the familiar feeling descend through my head and became "sucked" into a vortex. My conscious began to spiral around the room in a tornado-like fashion. I became aware of several other entities- all connected together like paper dolls. I was able to slow things down slightly and take notice of the look-alike entities, which first became identified with the Shoney Bear image. The consciously made image of the commercial icon dissipated and I could finally tell what I was looking at. They were all approximately 3 feet tall, wearing a robe colored somewhere between light-orange and cream. They had no face, at least one that was visible. Instead, their countenance was replaced with a black hole. As the spiral faded, I became once aware of my surroundings.

The experience was much more pleasant. I was pleased to find the Shoney Bear image clarified. The music, apparently, had a great deal of an effect at the beginning of the experience. As the melody became higher in pitch, I felt as though I was drawn towards the stereo. As it lowered, I was propelled away from the music source. The experience lasted roughly five minutes, with a pleasant, peaceful euphoria lasting several minutes thereafter. Additionally, something seems to have "reprogrammed" my mind to cease cigarette smoking and to eat more healthy.


March 13th 2005
Dosage: 125mg 10x Non-standardized Extract. 12mg Melatonin
Time: Approx. 3am
Setting: Low lights. Lying down.

Melatonin levels produced within the human body peak at approximately 3am. As such, I decided to experiment to see whether or not it had any effect on experience. After second inhalation, typical disassociative effects take place. My conscious was taken to another part of my house where the computer is located. Several other entities present but I cannot see them. Many of them sound as though they are children- laughing and carrying on. The dominant one is an obvious female. Glance of blond hair. She looks at my computer and tells me to relay to an individual (whom I was previously discussing Salvia with) with a "hello". She seemed to be interested in him, possibly having previously known him. Says something about him in regards to pulling a lobster's tail and laughs. The female force and others begin to pull away...going "up" and away. I ask if I can journey with them and she replies "Now is not the time." They begin to make serpentine undulations through sky and space. I have momentary glances of a starship, which seemed VERY familiar- possibly having seen it in previous experiences and forgetting about it before I could document it. As the outer space scene faded, I slowly begin to return to normal consciousness.


Very strange experience. They are beginning to have more and more common traits with N,N-DMT...especially the strange lifeforms and outer space visions. These sentient forces that I acknowledged within the trip were not the same ones that had appeared in the previous three experiences. I'm not quite sure if the Melatonin factor was relevant or not- the experience was totally unlike the previous ones, especially in regards to be talked with by the female being. The euphoria lasting after the experience probably totaled more than 20 minutes this time.
