Thanks, but I have found them very agreeable. I water like every 3-4 weeks and all has been well....

I did lose a few early on, but I think the next run will go smoother as I think that 16 oz cups , cacti dirt, and a baggie for humidity will be more agreeable to the youngsters...

Just bought several cacti and other plants a couple minutes ago. Can't wait to start on mine. I picked up some Bridgesii, San Pedro, and Peruvian. Hope they come out nice like yours Prism.

very nice cacti there! i started some seeds as well.
the first ones are peruvian T and pachanoi, all 3-4 years old.

these are some of my 4 month old loph seedlings. they are not looking as happy as yours

growing them from seed is cool, seed are so cheap. if i had a greenhouse i would start a cacti business

look what i got! lol, not seedlings of course.

the ones i got from you are also doing well, i just dont have a pic yet. the dogs knocked them off the porch and dammaged the tips but they grew puppies bigger than the original cactus. will get a pic soon.

it can be but i heard only before harvest but not right before,
it's good to stress out peruvian torches sometimes, I saw someone here post a few pictures of cut etiolated tops, and then gave them adequate lighting and they would pop out another pup or two.

I've got a tiny peruvian torch seedling that i cut b/c i thought something was wrong at the base. Nothing was wrong and it put two pups off .

yes they are but it'll take a few weeks to a month if you were to cut
off one part and leave the roots, and bottom half with a few spines on it.

Okey dokey... A couple Months ago I did some grafting... A couple bridgesii were cut and placed on the Pereskiopsis.

The grafts took, but the pereskiopsis on one of the grafts grew through and sprouted out of the Bridgesii. I have never seen that before... I am thinking I may graft another Bridgesii pup on that Pere shoot for a kewl looking 3 way graft...

Also, the cut bridgesii rootstock is pupping so I will be grafting those on Pere's ASAP...

This cacti shit is fun... if you have the Patience...

You can water as often as the soil dries out.
