    N. Rustica

I worked with a woman that had some seeds....she gave me a few and i decided to start them. I started them on a window sill at work and they grew nicely. gave a few away and still have 50 plants....damn these seeds germinate good....so...i transplanted a few to smallish pots but bigger then the plugs they were in. a few days ago one of the ladies at work said..."hey..your plant is flowering"....surely..it was. today i was looking at my plant saying....i remember the leaves on doobs plants being bigger then my head.....wtf.....

Now...you might say it's light....nope...full direct light all day.
you might say it's the ferts.....nope....i feed it insanely and no burning.

    so......any thoughts?

i remember doobs big ass leaves, sometime back me and someone here were talking (i don't remember exactly who) about this same thing, our leaves were about the size of your hand...

it's probably a combination of things. i just figured it was the light, i grew mine inside under 400watts.. they would flower fairly fast too

i'm wondering if maybe doobs lives near a tobacco farm and his seeds are actually a hybrid of rustica and tobaccum....i'm waiting to see the color of the flower when it opens.

i also read that tobacco will flower if it recieves more then 14hrs of light a day.

Do you have any pics? Her's some pics of my flowering Rustica plants. Your right they do germinate good. I had dozens of seedlings. I finally picked out 5-6 and put them in the ground. They seem to love root space because the one i gave lots of space to is over 4 feet tall.
