| egg white kratom exraction tek .
I was surfing around and came across this article at entheogen.com
.egg white kratom tek (and probably useful on other entheogens too) - 4th July 2008, 03:09 AM by bransondude at http://www.entheogen.com/forum/showt...ghlight=kratom Quote:
the following is exactly what I did to produce a type of kratom extract.
about 6 grams of powdered bali leaf were put in lemon juice water and heated to steaming. it was stirred a bit until it was completely dissolved.
then the whole liquid was filtered through a permanent coffee filter. The liquid was put in a blender with one egg white (the liquid at this point was about 750mL) and blended about ten seconds on high. A foamy mess was created and put in a pot on the stove.
The foamy mess was heated on high until the eggs seperated completely from the water (about 3-4 minutes). this was filtered through the same permanent coffee filter as before, leaving a nearly transparent yellowy liquid around 400mL.
Cooled in the freezer for a while and drank. It worked! shazam!!
I should note that the taste was intensified with this method, I usually don't mind kratom but this flavor reminded me of those kratom pies that were heavily promoted a few years back. it is theoretically possible to evaporate off the water and have a small amount of material left over.
I've been experimenting with this on a few different plant materials and it seems to consistently produce similar results. in theory, it should work on most if not all alkaloid containing plants. for those who like a pure product, this method would create a good material to further purify. The egg whites should stick to the fibers, proteins, and fats, leaving behind everything else. On other websites this egg white method has been mentioned in use on mimosa and caapi. I'm certainly not the first to think of it, but maybe the first try it on a variety of entheogens.
my friend who I recommended this method to applied it to cacti. He says 9 inches (400-500 grams, not weighed beforehand because my friend forgot) of a popular cactus yielded about 18 grams of very sticky amber goo. He was able to soak the goo in isopropyl alcohol where some of the goo refused to be dissolved. he dried the alcohol and ended up with 1.8 grams of something he liked very much. he didn't go into more detail and in fact disappeared soon after telling me his tale. never to be seen again.
There you have it, an organic kratom extraction that works. the taste intensification might deter some but dry it out (a little heat, fan, and time will do the trick nicely) and you can have an easier to consume product.
to those who care I have found that about one egg white per liter does the job well.
Use the blender if you have one, the foaming action seems to spread the egg white out very well. If you don't have a blender, you can mix the egg white in seperate water using a wire whisk. then pour that into your solution and continue to whisk well. you might need to use more egg whites without a blender.
It is possible to use too little egg white. If you still have sediment, try another egg white or even half an egg white.
