    cacti in oregon?

    could swim grow pedro outdoor in oregon? what are indoor climate restrictions?
    suggest cutting or seed?
    could swiy take a 6 foot cutting from an online vendor and cut it into smaller cuttings and plant them?

    Yes, these cacti grow just fine in Oregon. I have a friend with some... I don't recall whether he takes them inside for winter, or whether they stay out all year. (Sorry I don't have specific cultivation info... I'm sure there's some in-depth threads on it on other forums, or maybe even on this one... just thought I'd share that it's definitely possible.)

    Cuttings are certainly the easiest way, since it pretty much starts growing once it's rooted and in the pot. Some people swaer by growing things from seed though, I think mostly due to the connection formed between the grower and the plant when it's raised from seed.
