smoking opium

ok, well SWIM decided not to grow poppies, that experiment failed. however, he got some opium anyhow, and a working chinese opium pipe. but holding it over a candle (can't find an opium lamp) always results in it just burning up instantly. how to smoke it correctly to where it liquefies and vaporizes and you can get a good hit? ps. SWIM already gets how to heat up and roll the pill into a cone and insert it into the pipe, just needs to get the smoking technique down. thanks!

whenever ive smoked it before it was on some herb, smoking it alone seems kind of complicated.

yeah, the meth pipe thing makes sense since they both liquefy. and i don't smoke off tin foil anymore, ever since i heard that the tin is real bad for you.

i think normal foil doesn't have any tin in it though .

I never had good luck with a tweak pipe, the improvised ope i had wouldnt liquify enough and it would just get crusty and the gooy center wouldnt be allowed to smoke. I had best luck smoking it on wet tabacco (pot would work too but most of the time i didnt want to be stoned), steal a bowl out of the tip of a cigar, mix in a few drops of water til its nice and consistently wet, then load it in a bong (preferably) and then load ope on top of that, smoke it gently with a torch lighter, enjoy. alos have a little blade or poker on hand so you can stir/cut to keep exposing the gooey center...
