[el_ronhub_birdnun-i have heard that grafted peyotl will develop in size at a greater rate than a non-grafted but maybe not necessarily so in potency. in your experience do you find any truth to this? ] As for potency I'm not exactly sure yet. Theres about an ounce dried and powdered but havent had the opportunity to try it yet. On a cannabis culture mag article this dude states that peyotl pups that form from grafting to san pedro are super potent. There seems to be conflicting reports on this subject though. I think it depends on age more than anything but I could be wrong. I'll start a storming the gates thread as soon as I can try out my peyotl powder. |

The only place I've seen pereskiopsis is one an online auction site once in a while.. To top peyotl you simply slice the top 20% or so off.. You want to make sure that the grow point isn't intact in any way.. If it is just cut a slice a little further down.. In a few weeks heads will pop out all over.. Pretty soon I'll start a thread on the subject with an easy to follow tek.. |

Topping is the easiest part of growing grafted cacti.. I'll have to start a seperate thread on it soon here.. I've got some bigguns from the how to graft thread I did.. Heres some pink peyotl's.. These were all green from a L. Williamsii var. Caespitosa clump.. A few of them are getting PINK! |

Wow, that's pretty cool. I didn't know that peyoti can be grafted like that. Now if I could only find some seeds. lol. I'm not asking for any, but does anyone have any advice about procuring some peyoti seeds? If this even seems remotely out of line I am sorry, but I am just curious how people get something that there is not a lot of around my area (at least that I know of). Awesome thread man.. ![]() I'm definitely going to have a try @ this when my seeds germinate!! I was maybe thinking of growing a pedro to a few feet, then lay it on its side, & re-root to use as a peyote graft powerhouse. Has anybody tried this?

after doing a little research I just realised that pretty much I have no idea what I'm talkin about!! Can you graft a Peyote pup onto the side of a San pedro or doe's it have to be on top (over the food stock??) I'm guessing the latter.

Nunya, can you enlighten me on how you cultivate the pere's? I know it's simple and easy supposedly, but I am looking for some parameters. Any help is appreciated. Also, are you germing the seeds first before grafting? I have heard that you can do it straight from seed, but I see some people seem to germ them first, what's your opinion?
