Mescaline Extraction - Muriatic acid

Hello,

SWIM has been trying to do a mescaline extraction for some time now, but hasn't had any success. It would seem that the problem lies with the hydrochloric acid that he has being too weak. In the TEKs he has read most mention using Muriatic acid available from pool suppliers. However, SWIM is based in the UK and can't find this for sale anywhere. The closest thing he has found is Dry Acid pH decreaser that contains Sodium Bisulfate.

Does anyone know if this will work or where HCL of the necessary strength can be obtained from?

a universal use for muriatic acid is in concrete work and brick laying. they wash up the spatter with acid the world over. I dont know where they get it in the UK, but every hardware store in the US has hydrochloric (muriatic) acid. also, I find it hard to believe that pool supply stores dont have gallon jugs of HCl, it is a universally used ph reducer in swimming pools.

yeah, hydrochroric/ muriatic acid is equally available as red devil lye, lefty. Don't know which ACE you're shopping at.

Uh, probably because I buy chemicals not drain products at hardware stores. And Red Devil crystals have been off the shelves for months.

I just got a gallon of it from a local pool store. I don't need it now because i'm doing a STB dmt extraction. It would be sweet if i could use it to extract Mescaline. Are you using san pedro or peyote or what?

Yes, Lefty, I know. I was being sarcastic. I'll spell out what I meant literally...... "NEITHER M. acid OR red devil lye is available at typical hardware stores anymore".
But Thanks for the insight. I passed this helpful knowledge on to a FOAF and he said he felt stupid because for many years the only things that he bought at hardware stores was lumber, nuts, bolts, paint & DRAIN-O! FOAF said that he feels stupid now because for years he's been buying clean tech grade chemicals only from reputable chemical manufacturers directly!! Sheeessh!! FOAF says that he needs to think more outside the box.......ya know....looking for lumber, nuts, bolts, paint & DRAIN-O at ....maybe.... at some major department stores, V. In. , 7- ...... Who knows?

Oh, and thank you so much for pointing out my type-o. God do I feel stupid!!
