Kratom 54X, how much to use?

I have some Kratom 54X from KTBotanicals, and have realized that I don't know what to do with it or how much to use for an average dose. Tea, maybe? If so, how should I brew it?

I've looked through some kratom threads, but haven't been able to find anything about this particular version. Thanks in advance for the help I'm sure will be coming!

Less then a gram for sure.

Tea...dont smoke it, to my understanding you'll get much more goodness out of it through oral ingestion.

54x...........Jesus Christ all mighty! 10g of straight kratom will do the job nicely. If it is 54x, 180mg will set the scene handily. If you don't have a scale that goes down to that, 1 cunt hair will do.

Yah, I was doing a little figuring and came up with about 150mG based on average dose etc.

My little scale goes to .1G, so I'll try sneaking up on .2G then backing off a little.

It's a tarry substance, kind of like old-fashioned Afghani hash. I think I'll put the dose in a spoon with a bit of corn syrup, mash it around with the tip of another spoon to make a slurry, then use the spoons to stir up a cup of tea. That should make sure it dissolves into the liquid.

Sound reasonable? I'll probably give it a go this weekend. Will report if I do.

Is it's alkaloid content quantified at all beyond the general 54x title?

54% total alkaloids; 17% pure mitragynine with 1-2% being 7-hydroxy-mitragynine.

54x? Jesus - that's the kind of shit that's going to get Kratom on the "banned" FDA list
sure as shit... all it takes is one kid to snarf down a sack of that and end up DOA in the
emergency room for this GREAT legal substance to get scheduled...

54X doesn't mean that it's 54 times as strong as plain leaf..
Rather 1g of goop was extracted from 54g leaf ..
The efficiency of the extraction would determine it's potency, which could be less than 70%..
Chances are , you would need a 250mg dose. But i would test at a lower level first..
150 is a good starting point...

54% K Alkaloids would be a lot different from 54X [if it existed] ..
So the X rule would not apply..[thread title says x]
Going by percentage is a more accurate dosing guide..

True, true, but even if the extraction is only 50% effective, that's 25 times as
potent as normal kratom - just a tiny bit would knock you flat... some kid gets
a hold of that stuff, goes online for dosage info, not realizing they have super
potent stuff, ends up making a hella mistake...

Granted, some bunghole could easily eat a pillowcase full of the stuff and
croak, but the odds are certainly higher that super potency = higher risk,
especially with the younger, "eat anything" legal-high crowd... hell, I snarfed
datura once when I was a sprat; if the internet had been around when I was in my
younger years, I probably wouldn't be sitting here right now.

Then again, maybe this is all some sort of rigorous natural selection at work?

That's why I'm asking the questions. Long past that kind of risk-taking. I figure that at 54% alkaloids it's potent shit.

I didn't try it this past weekend, had other stuff to do and didn't put it in my suitcase. But I'm going to start pretty small. I've taken straight kratom leaf, and some 5X, and enjoyed it. But this looks like a whole different animal.

I don't really know. I'm not an experienced kratom user, just a dabbler so at this point I'm not in a position to compare relative effects.

It's $12.50 for 3.5 grams extract. That's about 1.9g alkaloids.

28g leaf is roughly the same price. According to KT, average leaf is about .5% alkaloids. So that's about 1.4g alkaloids.

If the alkaloid profile is the same and nothing's lost in the extraction, it seems like a pretty good deal.
