![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Opium from Pods
Ive been interested in experimenting with legal poppy pods. After reading a few threads regarding pod tea, I noticed a few people mentioning evaporating the water down until a tar develops. In what ways does this 'opium' from the dried pods differ from the milky white latex (which dries black) from freshly nicked pods. Taste, effect, dose... etc If the tea taste bad, wouldn't the 'opium' Background; ive smoked opium before. Ive had small batch organic, a day or two since being fully dried (amazing). Ive smoked what id describe as commercial; street level (decent), and ive regretfully sampled a few types of 'soapium' - the stuff most likely sold as a 'legal high' or incense (all black tar, im not talking about that draco, dragons blood crap ) |

Tar cooked down from poppy tea simply isn't like opium... you can eat it but most folks report that smoking isn't productive; never has been for me - it's just a different substance. try poppies.org for tons of poppy info, ![]() soliver |

I know its far different then opium, i was wondering more the aesthetic differences... sorry to go off on a tangent... But you statement made me wonder... Are there any teks out ther using some type of fat (butter, oil) in the tea brewing process? Does it synergize? I know a recipe to make some of the strongest ganja butter with nothing but water, butter, and the crudest parts of the plant. Im talking a side of a saltine conservatively smeared with butter. Better IME then butter alone. Ive also made incredible 'tea' using a small amount of baccardi 151, maybe 3/4 a qt of ganja shake, stems, a small amount of seeds, and water. No adverse effects. (people say theres almost no THC in seeds and stems..) All i know is my friends and i got a good dose of omega-3 essential fatty acids from the seeds, and whatever other nutrience was in the stems, seeds, n fan leaves.. plus all 6 of us were flying! |
