Swim cut up 4 sections of bridgesii, each 6 inches long. so that's equivalent to 2 feet, which was estimated at 2 doses. Swim cut out the core out, and diced into small sections. Then put them in the oven on 250 for a few hours and they are now fairly crispy, though some larger pieces are still pliable. Swim now has 44.4 grams. Swim is thinking 20 g is considered a threshold dose for torch, but has heard some bridge can be effective at this dosage? it's just some normal bridge, which seems to be abundant with topia members. Swim isn't looking to be completely blown away, but desires a good experience |

not sure, i got a decent 'threshold' off 6" of fresh pedro. the heat might be too high i think mesc boiling point is 186* dunno if its F or C might be F. i usually just turn the dial till the oven comes on and it takes about 12 or so hours to dry 1/4" thick slices (if the whole ovens full). the temp id prob guess is 150 or less so i dont think it degrades it at all. figure the max safe dose of 1000 mg and your bridg might be around 2% dry so 50g is the most youd wanna take if your cactus is potent.

A foaf dried hers and ended with about 35g/12" once completely dry, but she didn't remove the core. From what I've read it's around 1% total dry weight fairly consistantly, hard to say without the core. But she was planing on an a/b so it will be a more precise measurable dose afterward. If that's what your doing you shouldn't worry about dry weight yet except for predicting your yields. If your making a tea it's going to be goopy as hell if you use powder. But if your just going to eat it or something use the equivalent of 12" is my 2 cents, can't go wrong really. | |

swim doesn't really have what he needs for an A/B, was thinking ISO extraction for tar, dilute doses in a small amount of everclear, and mix with pineapple or mango juice. Swim only has 1/2 a bottle of everclear, and doesn't want to waste it on extractions. Swim has a lot more cacti to work with, just that 44g is dry now. It was going to rot and swim was not ready to partake so it was dried for preservation. Swim would drink tea himself, but his companions are not as enthusiastic about cactus |

swim cut and began drying another foot of bridgesii, and has already completed drying another 37 gs of pedro that was laying around. Swim is getting an abundance of juice leaking from the cactus chips and collecting on the pan. Baking at 250 like suggested many places , and They are almost submersed in goo. Does this goo contain the alkaloids, or is it just moisture and the alkaloids are still in the plant material? Swim doesn't want to waste his time, cacti, money, or possibly goodies. |
