What is "just" or "right" is not up for debate. These are subjective things, and will be bickered over regardless. You (AndyLandy420) say it can't help the situation. I on the other hand, say it can. The video can serve to aid someone in an extraction with the video alone; that was its design. It does a perfect job in procedure- without any extra literature, although it is provided. The very idea of free information exchange has an immense impact. Think back to the time you learned of druuuugs (said in a callous Burroughs tone), mycotopia, or a book (or any vessel for information exchange). Now think back to how much power You felt when you educated yourself and realized that there are wealths of knowledge in this world and they have expanded your awareness. Now imagine if all this was censored. It's much more difficult to accept this forum being censored, now isn't it, than a video on youtube. The more the public sees this and sees the support behind it, the harder it is to pass legislation. Just because something could potentially be used against you is a very naive reason to destroy it and hide... You die along with your knowledge, without ever letting it aid the next generation. I do think you have good intentions, but I've said it before, deviation is the reason we're not all locked in an Orwellian world! The day I submit to another and replace my beliefs with fear is the day I die. You can call that glory. Thanks for your concern, but war driving can be your friend. The war on drugs is a joke. The gov. is onto this forum just as much as YT. If you don't realize that, you're just lying to yourself. For those I didn't leave a reply to, it was not worth my time. It was my careless mistake to upload a video that infringes the copyright of Squarepusher. I am sorry for it being removed for violation of youtube policies. I hope you see my intention is not to criticize the video but I think its extremely ill advised to say that the video is an all encompassing everything you need to know. I also hope you can see by my post history I take great pride in spreading the knowledge, so please don't accuse me of being a tightlipped prissy or imply i am stingy with anything I know, whether i learned it from someone else or developed it myself. I think my record speaks for itself. One thing I am a firm believer in when it comes to this is balance, thats the only thing you've failed to take into account on your quest, ANY idget with the internet can get done any extraction they apply themselves to, I say again, I think any person with the will will have no trouble finding ten teks that have 4 approaches to yielding any sort of anything you may want, everything that really needs saying has been said again and again, its been rewritten 'for dummies', teched up for more the more advanced, and just plain said again to show everything anyone deems worthy of noting. Your video doesnt serve a purpose that has been served 10 ways from sunday, I dont think you can really argue that seeing as how your techniques is not at all original, its borrowed from teks that anyone who keeps up has seen. but back to my original point... balance, I think you have good intentions too, but where do you draw the line in fighting for your cause? forums are the bare minimum that gets it done! I learned most everything I know from this place and I dare say I know this stuff like the back of my hand. Forums are vast wealths of knowledge, they have more information than any man could ever master, they do a damn fine job i'd say, everyone gets to share and learn anything they want, and not only do they 'do the trick' very nicely, granted you have to actually read if you want to know the shit, it works just fine. as long as your busy making sure your not submitting to 'them', why not hold a ceminar? why not sell kits that have NaOH, HCl, CaCl, toluene, acetone, cactus, and a nice jug to mix it all in? none of the items are illegal, why not? why not snipe the pres in the juggular with a fatty of dmt? I dont like it any more than you do but the line needs to be somewhere. and like you said deviation is vital, Im all about it, but you cant overdue it. i dont doubt that law enforcment checks in these forums but we are just little old freaks hiding in our little hole, not bothering anyone, if anyone wants to wander down into our depths then god help them. YT is brazen as fuck like i said before, it may reach more people but not any more people who have the will to pull it off, your not only putting it under their noses, your stickin it in their face. Maybe i went a little overboard saying you were after 'glory' but look at your tone even now, "If it happens to be removed for violation again, at least the torrent exists..." you dont think its even a little destructive/careless/pointless to use YT?

What I don't understand is why you (KneeSoup) didn't just upload the video here to mycotopia? This site will except avi, wmv, mpeg and mpg video format uploads. Or you can zip it and upload it here, then users can click the link and download the video. There is many ways to get the video onto this site without resorting to youtube. I'm sure there wouldn't have been a big stink about it if you did it this way, But Youtube? Why not help the people here first and contribute here first, not youtube first, regardless of linking to there. That goes for alot of questionable pics (and videos) of what people post. It should be uploaded here first. As far as hosting/uploading goes, that kind of video belongs here at 'topia not youtube. Just my 2 cents. |

Your right, he does not get it at all, and I don't thin Andy went to far saying he's doing it for glory when he is going out of his way to demonstrate that it is so. My fear at the moment is that if it does get attention, and Zims did, Mycotopia will get attention for being linked to it. I believe that Mary J should become legal, and strongly disagree with it's prohibition being enforced but I don't go blowing smoke in the LEO's faces to prove my point. EDIT: It's already been removed again. BWAHAHAHAHAHA.
