Kratom balls

Here's a fairly decent way to prep K powder for convenient ingestion..
It's very simple and has a few good benefits..

In a saucepan i heated a pound of honey to barely boiling and added
a tbsp of ascorbic acid..

Added about 300g of fine K powder and stirred well with a rubber spatula..

Leave the pot covered to cool slowly..

Once it's cool enough to handle , spray one hand [palm] with cooking oil
and use a spoon to dig out enough to make each ball.

Roll it in your palm to make the marble sized doses..
If it falls apart , then it needs a bit more honey in the mix..

The benefits are that by heating and acidifying, your substantially
reducing any bacteria that could be present..
The idea of eating a raw powder from an Indonesian jungle gives me the willies..heh..

Also the honey/acid draws out the alkaloids for better/faster absorbsion..
It beats yakkin down a dry powder too and no goodies are lost ,like when making tea..
This only takes about 30 mins and once they cool , they loose their stickyness...

The flavour is still not great but if u chase with milk - it's all good..

If the horse turd appearance is a turn off, u can sprinkle with powdered sugar while still warm..

I did this once, but it was a little different method. I posted this on another site and I thought I'd share it here too.

Well, I got tired of tossing and washing the remainder of my kratom, so I decided to experiment a little. I decided to make a dough type substance out of my kratom, and this is how I did it:
1. Boiled about 2 cups of distilled spring water then added 2 tbsp of yerba mate.
2. Let the yerba mate steep for a while
3. Put the kratom in a pot, about 16 grams total. (about 4-5 doses for me, I'm small)
4. Slowly poured in the yerba mate until the kratom turned into a sort of goo, ended up only using less that 1/4 cup.
5. Boiled off any extra water from it then transfered it onto a plate of flour.
6. Mixed the goo with the flour until dough consistency was reached
7. Flattened kratom dough on cutting board and cut into sections
8. Rolled those sections into balls the coated them in flower again (powdered sugar would probably have worked better)
9. Store in fridge or consume (by consume I mean add to your favorite incense blend of course)

I was surprised that even with ingesting the same weight of powder, the effects were much greater. I would really suggest this method if you have the time, but I would try golly's method with the honey before mine.

I can def tell the difference between ingesting the nuggets and an equal amount of raw powder ..So essentially it takes a bit less to reach the same level..

Liquid extracts are relatively expensive ,although they are pretty good..
I just grab a powdered kilo for the best deal...

I've noticed that blue lily (Nymphaea caerulea) tea helps potentate kratom. I think I might try making a strong tea of blue lily then boiling it down and adding honey and using that to mix with the kratom. I'll let everyone know how that turns out.

Oh great, now you gave me the willies too. Ignorance was bliss, sheesh. Now I'll have to use your recipe to take kratom from now on, which I think I would've done anyway since it sounds like the way to go.

Heh, yeah..I'm sure that for the most part, there is a degree of safe handling practices
observed with the harvest and drying over there..but being as it's not regulated by any health department for internal use - it's still a bit of a crap shoot imo..

The marble sized balls vary from 4-6 grams ..I eat about 11/2 for a decent burn..

Well, I'm sure you meant no pun there but you would be surprised on how many people (especially men) don't wash after taking a dump. We have a hypochondriac here at work that tracks the people that don't wash after taking a dump, taking a wiz, blowing their nose and so on. Besides all that, it seems like a real easy way to choke the stuff down. My first time I tried it I mixed it with some ranch dressing. Little tummy wanted that shit out in a real bad way. The mind perservered with the promise to the tummy of a generous reward later on. That was enough to quell the rebellion and I entered a shadow version of the kingdom of nod....

Yeah, my girl uses the extract regularly and says they are potent and convenient.
I did them a few times with no effects at all.
Guess I'm hopeless.
