To make an aspirator at home all you need is the following: 1. An HDPE bottle.. I used a spray bottle.. 2. A cap to an Isopropyl alcohol bottle.. 3. Some fuel line from the hardware store.. Burn a hole in the cap with a soldering iron... Just barely big enough to fit the tube it very snug.. You want it to be air tight.. Push in the tube through the cap.. Just a quarter inch or so past the cap.. Screw the cap on the bottle.. Thats it! Squeeze the bottle and place the tube in the solvent layer of your extract.. Let loose.. The force of the bottle trying to expand will suck the solvent into the bottle.. Repeat till you cant get anymore without pulling the basic solution over.. Then for salting you take the cap off.. Pour in acid water.. Shake or swirl and let separate.. Pinch tube shut and turn bottle upside-down.. The acid layer will go to the the side with the tube in it.. Let go of the tube that you pinched and the acid water/ alkaloids with drain out.. Pinch the tube just before the solvent gets to it.. Freeze the bottle to get the remaining water out.. This has worked very well for me with both Spice and Mescaline extractions.. Hope this helps some people out.. |
