![]() | Spice Extract Source Question
reading through the various teks on extraction, there seem to be some profound differences in purity and quantity. my question is, would the procedure used in most of these for mimosa also work for desmanthus rb? ive read that there are differences in the fatty content and other undesirables between sources, and i wonder which more commonly used sources' tek would be most appropriate for desmanthus? jeeze... sorry about wording.. maybe sobriety and posting should go hand in hand.... (leptol.)

Desmanthus will require a defat - my friend uses the Marsofold tek and defats the acid phase a couple of times with xylene before basifying. One should probably figure on evaporating the NP rather than freeze precipitating too.
