cap ~~ confusion's prince ~~ Join Date: Mar 2006 Posts: 4,559	Comparison of the Variance in leaf ridges in Papaver somniferum (Opium Poppy) - HELP? hey there i was curious if anyones got comparison pics of the leaves of opium poppy by variety/cultivar. will taz have the same ridges as paki ? i think not! i found two seperate looking p somniferum in the garden today and was just wanting to confirm my assumpton its not just some weedy lettucy thing in the papver family. pretty sure its somniferum but wanna be sure. its got slightly more pointed ridges. now ive seen variances on even the same plant, some with no ridges whatsoever, etc, any help is greatly appreciated. i will start searching around for info now, myself, but please chime in if you have anything to add! be well and thanks for looking __________________ www.gdradio.net www.phillesh.net "i dont know, maybe it was the roses...."
