Unknown Cacti

Can anyone tell me what the common name or the genus and species? It was given to me at the checkout @ lows or homedepot. the person in the gardening center knew that i would buy the disfigured and half dead items for next to nothing, and rehebilitate them. So she hands me a green lump with some dried up roots dangling. well i cut off the dead roots and rerooted the cacti. after tooting i repotted and buried some of the lower cactus to provide more rooting surface. After a short period ofadjusting to the new pot the breen bump took off. it jumped up 3 inches and doubled in gerth. The it started to show its true colors. All around the top and center of the growth tip it started to grow little nodules with small leaf like projections at the tip. some of them even had little green balls as well. then over the next month or so the bals turned red then opened into tiny glower clusters. so small they didnt look much diferent than the balls. and as the flowers fell off the arms would continue to grow out and up.
