First Acid trip in over a year, Tips or Advice?

Im going to trip on acid for the first time in a long time. I have only did it once before which was a over year ago and it was a quite amazing trip. Im looking for advice and tips. It will take place 4-5 days from now. I have a sitter this time, which is a great friend, considering I was by myself last time(friends were trippin up in the house, but I "wanted to be a part of nature" lol), prancing around and laying in the woods for 3-4 hrs lol and I couldve easily gotten lost. They guy im getting it off of said dont take more than 3 hits since it will only be your second time, and I was planning on taking 2 hits. I have everything planned out by approximate times. Im also telling my sitter to not to let me go outside unless he is attentive and watching me every second and making sure neighbors arent around(nosy neighbors lol). I got some Tool and other peaceful music lined up on the computer. I know not to take it if Im mad, sad, or anything but peaceful and happy. I think I got the basics. Any Advice and/or Tips would be greatly appreciated!

I've had to introduce many, many n00bs. I actually had to explain tripping to someone with no experience and a pipe full of beautiful, white DMT in their hand. I know it sounds irresponsible, but I was sure that this person could handle it.

Since (s)he's got experience with other things, I figured not much else was necessary. Maybe this, though:

I knew the times but not the bitter part, but the first time I did LSD it had some of a metallic taste if I remember correctly. (EDIT: It was like a slight, Barely even noticed it, taste of metal but I could taste it and my friends I was with also hinted this taste.) Is this what it is supposed to taste like or is it even supposed to have a taste at all??

It does have a taste, i don't know if i would describe it as metallic or not.

i would prepare by making sure you have plenty of weed and stuff to munch on when you are coming down lots of fresh fruit, drinks. Also lots of Grateful Dead music.

Are you 100% sure that it wasn't an RC? Cause unless you're eating thumbprints, you're not gonna taste impurities. Some RCs can be surprisingly close to LSD, too.

You're also not gonna taste the ink unless you're eating shitloads of it. And any kind of contaminant that is just physically on the outside of the blotter is most likely not going to taste like a chemical. Bitter or satly, probably, but not like chems.

I won't say that it doesn't have a taste, but it's very slight and it's almost just a feeling. Kind of like licking a 9-volt battery.

I'll admit that it's only when eating 4 or more hits at once that I taste anything. And yes, I'm sure it was LSD. I'm well-versed in quite a few various RC's and it was 'cid all day.

So our common ground is that L blotters with a moderate to high loading have create a metallic sensation when applied to your tongue which can be interpreted as a bitter taste. w00t!

I live in Northern WV, and its quite abundant up here for now. The guy I'm getting it off of is going to Baltimore tonight to get it. Im buying tomorrow and taking it friday =)
10 hits on blotter paper. I was going to go with another guy but he said he mixed it up himself, I turned that down.
Im getting 10 hits, Giving 4 to a good friend and then I will probably stock the others up that Im not taking.

Eh, I grew up there, so I miss the hiking my special areas and getting lost in the woods! I miss it--I got to SA on Christmas day and its dead and brown--I miss the green and the beautiful trees--went back to pa for a while mid june and caught some of the rainstorms(of course there wasnt rain like that for years---then i leave---grrrrrr)! Perhaps Im not giving it a chance here,but hell,i liked Georgia better than this! Thats why I am toying with the idea of just taking a little trip to WA to do some exploring in the old woods there!!! W00T! Cant backpack alone,though!!!!!

I couldve, and can, easily gotten some over summer, but didnt go to them. When I started looking around I thought I might have to wait till next summer to get some, then I found 2 guys selling!

my two cents.

if you wanna go out and be in nature on acid, DO IT. it is the BEST THING EVER. my most amazing and fantastic acid trip ever was when we went camping. we hiked for like 6-7 hours and i wasn't one smidgen tired, i thought i could keep going forever, we only went back to the tent cause it started getting cold and dark. the plants, the rocks, the bugs, the sky, the trees that breath while you watch them...everything in nature is AMAZING on acid and i highly recommend at least venturing into your front yard to stare at the grass

its a good idea to bring your sitter out there with ya though, walking into traffic is not cool.

Totally true man. The first time I did Cid I laid in the woods for hours. The most amazing experience. It was absolutely astonishing! Im probably going to end up in the woods for this trip also.

First time I did it, after laying in the woods, I came up back to where my friends were and I tried to eat a bowl of cereal but couldnt because the taste was overwhelming and the texture was so greatly felt. I settled eating a banana and drinking a glass of orange juice lol.

Up here in Northern WV, where I live, We have like 2-3 "Hippie" Festivals every year only a little drive away to either of them, they are both in the same county as I! I couldve, and can, easily gotten some over summer, but didnt go to them. When I started looking around I thought I might have to wait till next summer to get some, then I found 2 guys selling! I dont think I will buy off of one of the guys. The guy Im buying off of has a very good vibe about him, but the other has like a weird, almost malevolent, vibe to him. mydarling Modtastic Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 2,033	my two cents. if you wanna go out and be in nature on acid, DO IT. it is the BEST THING EVER. my most amazing and fantastic acid trip ever was when we went camping. we hiked for like 6-7 hours and i wasn't one smidgen tired, i thought i could keep going forever, we only went back to the tent cause it started getting cold and dark. the plants, the rocks, the bugs, the sky, the trees that breath while you watch them...everything in nature is AMAZING on acid and i highly recommend at least venturing into your front yard to stare at the grass its a good idea to bring your sitter out there with ya though, walking into traffic is not cool. __________________ tonight your ghost will ask my ghost, who put these bodies between us?
