Help identifying this cactus

Hi all.
Im interested in getting a hold of mescaline cactuses for a friend of mine. I think that the area where I live has great potential for finding wild specimens. I have seen many cactus that resemble the san pedro or the peruvian torch. Both of which i have only seen in pictures.

So, I found this cactus neglected at a friends house and Id like to know if it is of the active variety, and if possible, directions for identifying the ones im looking for.

I attach the pictures, and thank you all in advance.

JoY!

I'm no expert, but that little neglect-o-reno looks like a Trichocereus to me.
As to its active-ness I can't guess.

Trout's notes on thelegonus(or thelegonoides) state only trace amounts of mescaline

I can't offer a positive ID on this one, however I don't think it is a myrtillo.
