lye-bark-water ratio

seen many different ratios for the Lye-Bark-Water solution posted in many different DMT teks. Everything from, 1-1-1 (lye-bark-water) to .25-10-1 (again, lye-bark-water) and everything in between. They can't all be right. The 1-1-1 ratio came from a tek that seems very reliable, but others have reported great success with far different proportions. Is Some Weirdo I Met to take it that it's not that important, or...or what? Weirdo has the bark and is red-eye to start. He'd like to hear some thoughts on the matter from those with greater experience to help him figure out the best way to proceed. This dude is an enormous manly beast, but he may cry if he wastes his bark.

do a gram of lye per gram of bark, maybe a little more. just add enough water to the bark so that it completely covers the bark but so it's not to thick.

Before I actually extracted I asked the same question so many times, but honestly, I found when actually extracting, just add lye until it turns slippery black.
