Growing Ganja in garbage cans

Earlier this year I started two seeds. After about three months under fluorescent light the plants were moved outside.
This was an experiment for me...the first time I have grown outdoor and the first time growing herb in the backyard.
My main concern was that a neighbor would spot the plants...
My solution was to grow the plants in pots that I placed into large plastic garbage cans. The plants were well hidden and still got sunlight all day.
The seeds I grew were an LB x Blueberry cross (Amsterdam genetics) which is still flowering ...
and a seed I found in a bud that was very purple and skunky but I do not know the name of. I have been calling it the Kush...

I had to share this picture. This Hummingbird landed in the yard and was unable to fly anymore. I think it was either very old/young or was sick /injured... poor little guy died a few hours later.

never thought of putting it in garbage cans. nice and stealthy i like it.

thanks, I was not sure how the plants would like it... I noticed it can get pretty hot in those plastic cans. I water the plants every two to three days. they were getting dry and wilting at first so I gave them more water and nutrients now and then
I will post more pictures of the LB x Blueberry plant... it is taller/bigger and slower maturing which I believe are sativa characteristics.

friend of mine who regularly grew for personal use used another trick. he would plant a tomato plant in the same pot as the MJ he just weaved them together in a trellace. my yard is a high visability area w/ lots of cops around. i tried this and it worked great. my mom even went out to pick tomatos, looking very closely for the ripe ones & never noticed the MJ. it was right in front of her face inches from her nose! the mind is funny. people look at what the are cued is a tomato plant, and thats what they see.

but just for posterity, one should never use metal cans to grow in
however, the plastic kind, as shown above by the thread starter is fine.
