April Fundraiser

well,
the economy is kicking my ass.

sales are down about 1/3 to 1/2,
donations are neglible
and the bills keep rolling in.

bottom line
we need to raise $500 in the near future
else i may be forced
to pull the plug on topia.

i just cannot afford to send the little i have
off to pay for a site that isn't returning
that expense back to me.

i have to pay my rent and utilities first-
and as it stands
that means
i will not be able to
come up with the server fees.

i'm already in a bad way
due to this month's server fee and credit card fees, etc.
i had to send off most of what i had left
to the phone company
or i'd have lost my internet tomorrow.

i'm down to about twenty in my pocket
and fifty in the bank.
that's it, all i have.
so
if you want to see topia around next month
plz help me thru this crunch.
i don't have much of anything to auction off,
already sold my guitar.

anyone got stuff they can donate to auction off ?

bump-
still a couple weeks in April for y'all to help out if you can.
everything's pretty much tapered off the last week,
i have the rent for this month, due in 2 days.
but i gotta buy a new license for vbulletin
so we can upgrade to the newest version
which fixes some bugs here now.
any help you can give is deeply appreciated
as all my personal money has to go towards
getting tires on my truck-
got wire showing thru the tread.

No, the money from the sponsors hardly cover the bills.
No, the site owner is not rich, but he still pays for most of the nut every year this site has existed.

yeah, seems many of the sponsors only run a little while
then once everyone knows about them
they cancel their banner.
they just did that to me over at kay-tee botanic,
that dude in mexico bailed out too.
and now i've been trying to reach azarius a couple months now
about their over-due banner fee
but i just get the run-around,
no answer or 'the guy's on vacation', etc.

Topia going down just ain't right.I really wish I had more dough to send in but as you know I'm strapped for cash just like everyone else.I really hope that maybe a few of the more fortunate people here will kick in to pull the site through these hard times
