![]() | are the pan cyan the strains you get from thailand because me and my brother started with 3 different strains we had ecudorian, hiawain and thailand the ecudorian never even spawned we figure either the sriniges were either old or we f--ked up some the haiwain are really flourishing we took 2 of the jars and started fruiting right away (we really wanted some mush) and the thai started to take but not as fast we have transfered the cakes into buckets to spawn from there is it normal the thai take so long??? |

![]() | Strain These are pan cyan tropicalis, not the thia or goliath varity.
Panaeolus Tropicalis
Were very excited to bring you the very rare Panaeolis Tropicalis. It is believed The Panaeolus Tropicalis originated from the Hawaiian Islands and was carried over to S. Fork Florida on Pineapple ships years ago and became a native to certain areas of Florida. It grows in the wild on old dung in tall grass.. and those that are fortunate enough to find or legally grow this very potent treasured species of Panaeolus are certainly blessed. According to all of our friends who have tried them in Amsterdam Its extremely visual... a very nice clean... vibe.....tasty...and just delivers a very powerful, colorful journey into the mind. As -Clyde- tells us, its more geared towards the intermediate and advanced growing level. Dont get him wrong it can be fruited rather easily by most legal growers that give it the right TLC. but will be fruited much easier by those that have some good experience with growing mushrooms from straw.. dung.. and/or compost..... it will not fruit like your typical cubensis or from mmgg/pf style cakes... All the Amsterdam people have to say is.. this mushroom ROCKS..... the mind and spirit.. .. Open your mind.. because this mushroom is the KIND !!! |

![]() ![]() | What makes you think they're P. tropicalis? Your pics are most likey wild Panaeolus cyanescens. Panaeolus var. tropicalis is extremely rare, and hard to identify without spore comparison under a microscope. Panaeolus cyanescens and cambodginiensis are 4 spored, the former occasionally 2 spored. Panaeolus tropicalis is 2 spored. Btw, the black text copied from Rich Hawks site is not only questionable, but it's hard to read. |

![]() ![]() | Those look good... Have you tried them yet? They strongly resemble wild Cyanescense to me as well They have highly spherical caps and thin stems, something that I, personally, haven't seen much in cultivated specimens for kicks, here is a pic of a couple wild pans seen yesrterday - found in the land where the divine bovine roam. ![]()
