what did you use as spawn and what did you spawn too? poo and straw only?

The 3 trays with many shrooms are about 90% gras seed, 10% straw/ composted cow manure. The other 2 trays are straw/composted cow manure inculated with an little amount gras seed.

Friends of me tried it and the say they are really strong.

The Jalisco dont stop flushing. I harvest every day some big shrooms. In the straw/compost trays now also grow some more shrooms.

The cluster always come back, hardcore magical power.

No, i just let colonize the substrate (about 2 weeks) and cased it. Im near 60g dry weight now and still new shrooms are coming.

Your grow post is really great Prankster. I have always had the itch to try some Mexicana Jaliscos but i have never been able to nail down the spawn prep correctly.

Could you share with us your method of prep for the spawn. You said you use 3 materials. ... grass seed, straw and compost. Do you pasturize all 3 together and innoculate them in the jar and let the jar colonize and then spawn to a tray and case with your verm mix. or do you innoculate just grass seed and then spawn to straw and compost as a substrate and case with the verm mix.

Did u make an LC or did u innoculate from multispore?

I would like to pick your brain a bit about this grow since i have not been able to talk first hand with someone who had such great Jalisco results.

This was an multispore culture on agar. I get some nice clones but at the moment it is here to hot to try them out.
