so i decided to build this thread up again because i will be working on it again soon
i was worried about showing the timeline
but i got to figure it out on the properties of the pictures when it shows when it was taken so good

7/21
i inoculated the ff with MS Atl#7 from Sporeworks:
- agar plates
- 300ml jars


this is how i did my jars:

let the seed and water sit overnight before
PC for 1hour and 30minutes

the quart jars and spawnbags have so much growth in them, the 300ml jars have a lot also but i did not take pics of those.

next year il be working on them more.. planning to clone a stone on agar, use a stone for g2g, eat the stones, and make MORE!

Do you have to use a stone for the G2G or can you use some grain with myc growing on it?
What exactly is the determining factor for stone production?
If you cloned a stone would your clone be more likly to produce more stones then if you used a piece of grain that had myc on it?

You can use myc for the G2G, it is very aggressive ime. The determining factors should be high CO2 levels, stone production is believed to be a survival mechanism of growing invitro inherent in a few species and strains thereof. I would think that cloning a stone would be like cloning any other shroom with the results being greater stone production. But 'cloning' a piece of myc would likely show no appreciable gain, due to the initial innoculation being multi spore.

i havent gone 2nd flush, that stone i got was just from the top of the jar.. i didnt touch anything else..

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, yes, most people eat em, better as in how? It is said they are not a potent but easier to control the high. And I think you mean 'typical', No they are not as popular,
Here is a bit of info I got off google,

Fresh Philosopher's Stone truffles are technically not mushrooms and do not look anything like magic mushrooms; they're closer to muesli or breakfast cereals.
Psilocybe mexicana is also known as the truffle or Philosopher's Stone. This hallucinogen will give you a stoned, psychedelic, philosophical, happy and visual trip.
According to some experienced trippers, Psilocybe mexicana is a very good alternative to magic mushrooms for first time users, because they give a good feeling and it is an easy controllable trip compared to other psychedelics. After taking these truffles, you will feel giggly and generally find yourself in an ecstatic state of mind. The psychedelic effects of the Psilocybe mexicana truffles can last as long as 6 hours. The psychedelic and euphoric effects will last for 3 hours, after which these effects will make place for a stoned effect of another 3 hours.

im planning to harvest them some time in january
so that would be around 6 months?
you can harvest as early as 2 months
some people i know let it grow in the jar for up to a year..
i also heard that the longer it is in the jar the more potent it is..

i hope it tastes better than mushrooms though..

fruiting it is a whole different thing..

it takes long to for it to fruit..

i have yet to work on that..

Excellent job, Vinz. Is there a magic number (weight) on the amount of dried stones for first time users? Normally, I would take half an 1/8 to a full 1/8 of Cubes for a decent experience. Aren't stones stronger? ~Skunk
