THat is the most amazing thing. Why don't you do a contest and you could send some cloned agar material to the winner? and some of your casing mix already made, and some of those pans just so we know what to expect

Seriously, I can't believe I just saw a pan flush like that, that is amazing.

    lost onabbey rd,
that's what the smiley was for. I was hoping that it would implicate my hopeful sarcasm. Next time i'll make it more apparent. It was really a way of me saying, "WOWZA" because it is an incredible grow.

What are pp5 containers? and what is MEA? I'm guessing it's a type of agar? not quite sure.

PP5 is polypropylene plastic - it's melting point is rather high, it can be PC'ed.

wlj ..can u tell me if your original clone piece came from early in the first flush....? I have noticed a definate loss of vigour in the 3rd flush clones as compared to the first...The difference in age is proly about 15 days....

Hey Golly, yes the clone came from the first flush. With cyans I usually only go for one flush. A 2nd is always possible, but I find under optimal conditions, cyans will give a heavy 1st flush liek the tray above. After the 1st, my trays seem to lack vigor and the fruits are sparse in comparison.

You don't have to clone from a proven substrain. A large fruit worthy of cloning is an excellent substrain. By cloning you're bypassing the process of creating isolates. If you go multispore and only get five mushrooms, just clone the biggest one. Your future trays should perform better then multispore, and the fruits will be very similar to the original cloned material.

    Cool thx, great info.

    U the pan man !!

Do you think cased rye(goliath) would fruit? or would it be better to spawn to a few layers of composted h-poo?
My goal at this point is just to get a few to print to continue study.

Your chances of getting fruits are much better with a manure based substrate. Try to prepare some jars following my Pan cyan tek, it's one of the easiest methods for success. One of the benefits is you can shoot spores directly into a manure based substrate, which is also your final fruiting substrate.

MEA? Could you elaborate, or give me a thread to read? I'd appreciate it.
