![]() ![]() | DDD Mushroom Soup #1 Dice 1 large onion... Dice some mushroom leftovers (stems etc) or some fresh mushrooms into moderated sized chunks (like course verm for example. )Fill a pot 3/4 with water (small one, about 6-8cups) and add in two beef bullion cubes. (use fresh beef stock if you have it. Fresh always better. )Add in the goods above (onions and mushroom choppings). Get boiling nicely and add in cup of olive oil, a tablespoon of butter, some salt, some pepper, some fresh or dried chopped parsely, a few celerly leaf chunks, and 5-6 drops of Wosticheir sauce (sp?). Cook dat shit up nicely. After about an hour, add in some flour mixed in water (no chunks) to help thicken, some milk or cream for creamy soup, and some extra fresh mushrooms diced up to be warmed, but not cooked through like the chunks... Eat it. Here are some pics of creamy and not creamy mushroom soups The extra parsely and celery leaves add a little more fuller green flavor to it for ya. The wosticheir sauce makes it a little more fuller flavored as well. Some like to cook the olive oil and butter first with the onions and mushrooms for a few min to really release the flavor before addin in your water/stock. Whatever you want to do, do it up, eat it, enjoy it. |
