Lite and Mellow Pod Tea

I've decided I like the lite and mellow pod tea versus doing stronger doses. Or maybe I'm a liteweight

This was my Friday night tea party

I find 1 1/2 medium pods are just right for an enjoyable time.

I like to make little tea bags too, and I microwave in a mug. Works great for me.

enjoy the pictorial.

Really I'm just gearing up for the start of the growing season. Got a decent amount of seeds and can't wait to plant em.

great idea with the bags, straining is the biggest bitch for me. Ill have to give that a try.

Thanks Friends. I don't like straining either, and if I want, I can make another cup with the same tea bag if I feel like it.

I just use coffee filter and stapler - yeah I know, real high tech

Waylit, I haven't tried ingesting just the ground material yet. I like the idea of it though, I think I'd have to really grind em though, finer than what I make the tea with.

oh, I like my mortar and pestal. I know its not as good at powdering the pods, but I just like to use it.

Use a coffee grinder, then pass the result thru a sieve to remove any larger chunks. Regrind the chunks and your good to go.

Thanks for the tips. I really think I'll try to ingest some for my next Friday night party. See which I prefer.

I like the mellow ride off of lite dosing and think I'll stick with that flavor

I agree with this only from the standpoint of being frugal. I can grind mine do dust in my coffee grinder making for a better extraction. For a pod and a half I am not certain there would be a great difference, but my 25g teas it does make a difference.

I found the lite tea dose mixed with some honey wasn't a bad flavor. I'm sure Rocket's 25 gram tea is bitttttterrrrrr lol.

I'll most likely mix with yogurt or ice cream, or pudding, mmmmm pudding, if I ingest.

I'm a light weight too Freaky - one medium pod is just right, although kratom is my preference for an opiate like buzzz...
Teas are great fun to prep , i crush pod in a blender then steep in apple juice/water and ascorbic acid..Add a bit of honey to taste sometimes but don't like it too sweet...

I agree, this method was intended for ingesting the pod. If one were to grind up a larger selection then it would even out the experience overall making it more consistent since all pods are not the same.

for the ingestion suggestions! I purchased a grinder and powdered some pods and mixed in pudding (roommates ate all the yogurt and ice cream) and WOW!

That hits way quicker and stronger than the tea.........behold,

Yes, pudding was good, only for 5 pods a snack pack doesn't cut it, so next time I'll mix with two snack packs

Though I'm partial now to trying your yogurt suggestion.
