![]() | I´m sorry but passiflora is actually useless for MAOI purposes. On the Psychotria, you might wanna run a little chromatogram and do the same on a viridis/alba sample, you could find if it´s active in a safe way. There are VERY POISONOUS species of psychotria, from which curare poison is made, be careful! DR ZING |

![]() | Psychotria Capensis - This Psychotriaart originates from Central Africa and is to have a very high content of DMT alkaloids like P.viridis. There is hardly information about it. Schamanenpflanze. Not winter-hard ornamental plant. Preferred well permeable, damp, humus-rich soil in sunny layer, also penumbra genehm. Can be pulled as a Kübelpflanze. Vermehrung by sowing with Vorkultur under glass all year round possible. Germ behavior differently. 60 days can last and longer. Sowing only spray. Can be increased easily from Stecklingen. A portion contains 5 grain danger i found this at it is everywhere i have and in-exhaustable hektik amount growing everywhere around me for 100's of kilometers. danger anyone have any more info ? |

![]() | it is my current purpose, i agree there is a wealth of plants here in south africa waiting to be used - bushman rubbing bulbs on deep cuts on their foreheads etc, witch doctors (inyangas and sangomas) ingesting milky succulents to induce visions, catha edulis and catha pondoensis in the eastern cape - i lived there a while millions of possibilites even that species of morning glory that grows on the beach that locals use when diving for crayfish to feel more liquid in the ocean, sceletium in the karoo, i really hope this psychotria contains spice i will do an acid base extraction and take some photos of the results as soon as i can get to the chemical supply store - by the way this entir post is entirely fictional - dont beleve a word i am mad. hehe ;P |

![]() | A FOAF has been on a mission to investigate the local plants lately... Acacia karroo had small amounts of a tryptamine (DMT?) . He didn't have enough material for a decent extract, but got less than a dose of white crystal after AB, which melted again (tiny amount). He tried AB on camel thorn bark, got small amount of white crystals out, 100gms of bark used, but tiny amt of crystal, yet to test. And he went to his local nursery today and bought 6 psychotria capensis.. Would an AB be the way forward for my FOAF? Phlux, U ever read about our local Erythroxylem species, FOAF looking for specimens BTW know for a fact about Xhosa sangomas using an ayauasca-like, acacia senegal and rue brew. If you are from upcountry, u can get the right acacia bark from the herbalists next to the road.. FOAF checked once when in the cape, but they all had to order it from upcountry, although they knew exactly what he was talking about...used in the "dreaming" medicine.. |

![]() | The tobacco with the beautiful pink flowers Got a little plant. Such a lovely smoke... Cubies in the wild is wonderful 2. ah the kei.. Gods own country ! Been walking through the coastal river forests there round coffee bay sometime. The coca's have gotta be around somewhere. Sangoma from Port st johns told me about their acacia senegal/ rue medicine. I've also had acacia brew confirmed to me by zulu sangoma in Durbs (Was quite drunk and not sure if I got the plants/language right haha..long story.)??I cant do extractions, all very naughty in this country ( if the judges, politicians, and police chiefs only knew what was in those extractions/brews they drank during initiation.. speaking to the ancestors and all . yeah.. But I hear of a FOAF's exploits occasionly. so will send the message on to my bud to send to the wind. Will be interested in whatever your insane dreams conjour up...in the mean time hehe.. I got 2 of the psychotria capensis babies down the line. So will care for them. Can the leaves be smoked? Dangerous to smoke untested material i'd think.. How much Viridis leaf would be smoked normally? |

![]() | rue in transkeii hey i used to live in transkeii - psj and i dont think rue grows there and i dont think the sangomas used ethnotrader - hehe , acacia senegal probably and the other acacias - i dunno about the p.capensis i have as much of any part of the plant that i want right now - i just am looking for the safest way to find out (and the eisiest way - pref without going the the chem shop - but i will - wait is there not another way to extract spice. ime sure i remember reading another document somewhere a while ago that there was another way not the norm a/b ex. know the zulu or xhoza names of some plants i should get from the market - not buphani disticha - bushmans poison bulb unless u can tell me a safe dosage of buphadrine or isidakwa - the drunkard - maybe that was in ure zulu brew. ? and then i woke up. ![]() |

![]() | acacias yea i got plenty access to acacias of all sorts - lots of indidgenous acacias near my house that i reqon i could score some bark from - what part would be best rootbark or bark ? and on that psychotria apparently some are pretty poisonous so i think an a/b ex and test the crystals and just hope its not 5-oh-dmt or summin maybe start low - ime hoping it contains spice and is non toxic caus p.viridis is better for brews than 4 extractions, maybe some b.caapi with it to get ure h, h and thh - i heard that there is a echinopsis / trichocerus species that is an invasive alien in our parts cant remember which one gust google it in .co.za and see offelbos or somming. all that bark at the market is pounded or raw and like R5 per armload hehe or i can grip some tools and sweat a bit near a tree. btw dont ever hurt a tree or take more than it can afford to give as it will get even with u. pls appologise and explain ure intentions to it too. ![]() |

A colleague of mine in Natal South Africa has already discovered in the waters along the coast of Madagascar, three varieties of edible seaweed which contain DMT. His name is Dr. Michael T.Smith You might be able to find the article via google. It is also possible Hippie3 may have it in his archives from me posting it years ago? mjshroomer, welcome to Mycotopia. I too just came back after a long absence.
