As far as my limited knowledge goes, Cyanescens & Cubensis are 2 different strains.

So do you refer to: actually physiologically cubensis but looked like cyanescens ?

Please explain the reality level above ...

... and give me a quick rundown on the difference between Cya and Cube:

• different trip ?

Psilocybe cyanecens and Psilocybe cubensis are two different species, and Psilocybe cyanescens should never be confused with Copelandia cyanescens (Panaeolus) cyanescens)./

Wavy caps are considered to be one of the many macroscopic characterisics belonging to the genus Psilocybe. A fe wavy cappped shrooms can be Psilocybe cyanescens, Psilocybe Stuntizii, etc/

Now sometimes, in vitro grown mushrooms can look nothing like they do in their natural habitats. P. mexicana (Mexico and Guatemala) and P. samuiensis (Thailand and Cambodia) look entirely different when grown indoors, as do the copelandia cyanescens grow ten inches tall indoors and outdoors grow two to five inches or so.

Of course, how you grow them, what kind of grain you use, the kind of compost, pasturized, etc and weather current parameters make a difference inwhat kind of shrooms you can produce. Many who get these strains are capable of reporducing even more.

Penis envy shrooms produce a lot of fruiting bodies ut one one or two may have spores on them so one perpetuates that particular strain by making spore swab sticks to keep the strain going.

Transkei's look interesting ... close to where I grew up. Also the source of a lot of the SA street 'erb. And the spot of many a great relaxo-chill puffing holiday in the unspoilt wilds.
