first time grower potency issue cubie

I have a potency issue .I am a first time grower and i grew bm cube on rye grain and used verm.during their growth i did spray with peroxide water mixture on a small spot of contam.The average size of the shroom was 2.5 in tall and .5 in cap.I ate a little over 2 g.They sort of worked .My question is was it the way i grew,picked or dried them that affected the potency , and what is the strongest strain.

no such thing as the strongest strain, they all are capable of the same range of actives.
you say you ate 2 grams,
was that dry weight ?
assuming it was
that's just a fairly low-end dose,
while it might trip a small % of people
many would need more than that for any effects,
often as much as 4-5 dry grams if one is hard-headed.

If it was fresh weight, then there is no way you are going to feel it with
two grams. If they are fresh, try out 20 grams, and if not, then don't.

I know it is usually new people who post potency threads, but is it ever
going to end?

If they truly are "bunk" then you must have some pretty bad genetics at work.

edit: and I didn't mean to be rude, and I do realize some people are really
into trying to increase potency.

Also, if it is your first grow, do not let that get you down.

Try a different set of spores next time.

it was just over 2 g of dry it was like 2.4 on my dige

I think most people would have a long night on that dose, but I personally
don't like doses like that. They put me into a body high that is hard to ignore
when I want to, and I never get where I am trying to go. Most people who
experience mushrooms never make it pass the 2-3 gram level, but I think the
real experience is beyond that.

And please, do not confuse experience with party.

ssri's sometimes effect your trip, so if your on antidepressants that might be the problem

I have lately been taking 2g dry and i always have a mild trip. It is nearly impossible to change poteny by what you use to grow and products you use one. From what I gather in the vaults, potency in the caps varies at the time of harvest. Most potent just after veil breaks and least potent after cap has fully open. A More of an explanation of trip would probably help.
