Arrow Best way to secure Tyvek to lid

Hello mycotopia. Long time lurker turned poster. Awesome site. The amount of info on this site is amazing!!!!!!!! So I have 12 jars in incubation and everything is looking really good and went as expected so far. I was about to make an LC today and acquired my tyvek but am wondering what is the best way to secure it to the lid.

    Silicon.
Also good for your self sealing injection port.
    Welcome!

Thanks for the welcome. For some reason this place is super comfortable and have no worries about asking questions because everyone one here seems to be out for the common good. Gotta love mycotopia.

I am truly among the LEAST experienced here, but I just used Tyvek for the first time on some TV slurry tek jars- I just cut circles of Tyvek and screwed the rings on. I may use this for jars to be nocced, and just seal the needle holes with silicone or tape after noccing.

I shook the shit out of the wbs/slurry jars- no sign of wetness on the tyvek, and they are colonizing rapidly.

you can also use duct tape or electrical tape to secure it to the lids.. duct tape will kinda shrink in the PC but electrical tape seems to do nothing out of the ordinary in the PC. good luck
