![]() | My Apologies to Mycotopia LASt fall in mid August I posted a bunch of URLs to new sections onmy website. Last week it was brought to my attention that none of the images were showing up and I found out that I never FTP'ed the images to my server so the pages came up as 404 errors. Not I have replaced them. Here are the URL's to three sections of beautiful scenery from different regions of Thailand. several hundred images form these three historic sites. Big Buddha Resort on the north of Koh Samui. Observe the original fractured wired Buddha and the changes he went through form donations over a 20-year period. bb1 Now here is the URL for KaBoehm, known also as the Tarnim Magic Gardens. While the name Magic Gardens has little meaning to Westerners, it is intended for tourists but is a beautiful retreat at about 450 meters altitude on the Island of Koh Samui with many waterfalls and pools and Thai carved statures of rock and metal, two giant sculpted mushrooms, one which had fallen form a tree in a hurricane and for three years has not been put back on its stem. And a Neanderthal like early Samui man by the mushroom stones. tg1 And finally, Muang Boran (The Ancient City), A National Archaeological Theme Park built in the shape of Thailand with real life size structures and man-made replicas of form one third to life size and they are geographically place in the park in the very geographical areas where the real ones are in Thailand. Thanks. I love to stand by those temples and close my eyes and see what occurred when they were first build and new. IT is one of the most awesome feelings in the world to have gone where few ever when before. When I first went to Angkor Wat for instance, build between the 8th and 12th century, Hardly more than twenty people a day. Now more than a thousand a day go. You should checkout the images of Cambodia at my site and the mushrooms I find there. mjshroomer | |
