Looking for an old neat tek

I have been sifting through a couple days worth of searches trying to find this nifty little addition to the pf tek, you noc up a jar and wait for it to germinate then pick the best one for use in a syringe does this ring anyones bells?

The best one of what? Not exactly sure what you mean. A little more info and I'm sure we can find something to accommodate .

Im looking for a tek that deals with germinating spores on a pf cake then selecting the best growth and scraping that mycelium off the cake for use in a mycelium syringe. Hope that clears things up.

You can grow the prime objext in a petric plate of agar (PDA or PYA) and wait for the pinners to fruit. The one which is largest, is usually the healthiest and that is the one to clone.

Wiping the top of the center of the cap with a swaub with lysol, and letting it evaporate in a sterile environment, you can then excise and extract a pyramid-wedged shaped section from the caps top with an exaxto knife and then put it into a jar of presterilized grain.

Is that what you are talking about?
