Looking For Good UK LC Mix

Hi coming from the UK certain items some of you guys/girls can pop down the shop to get seem to be like trying to get blood out of a stone for us UK mycophiles. I'm just about to start my first proper "grow" and i'm finding corn syrup to be the holy grail!!. I would like to start a good LC going and would like to get the "best" if i can.

I have no problem getting honey etc and can even get liquid glucose/dextrose and golden syrup but i hear glucose is not ideal and provides only a small amount of nutes minerals for the LC. Being as i would like to create a nice strong long lasting formula (sounds like a deodorant ad!) i would like to use a "karo" mix plus the bonus of it being clear so "naughties" would be easier to see.

So what do you think is the best bet for us UK myco's (clear LC would be best if poss).

hello i am from europe , as an lc i I always do 4g organic honey and 100g spring water. Always works.
and have a buch os fyringes in the fridge for 16 months ant they work no problems .....
I konw some people use beer kits (the sugars), but if you use honey it does work

not perfectly 'clear' but diluted potato water is good long-term lc broth -
just boil a large diced potato, save the water , [eat the potato

brew supply house should have dextrose and/or malt extract.
