ok, scored a ton of high grade shit from the wife's riding instructor,
his ranch is just a couple miles away.
lots and lots of pasture-fed horses,
he doesn't feed much grain at all
so we're taking top quality here,
and all of it range-gathered,
this ain't urine soaked stall crap.

it is a bit moist from recent rains
but i have the tools to dry large amounts fairly quickly,
if you want it dry.

i can fit about/almost 25 pounds in my largest boxes
and it costs me about $20 to ship it .
price will be, for dried 'as is', $45 for that.

the extra water weight will increase shipping costs considerably

'as is' means just that,
not processed by me in any way
other than to dry it out.
you'd want to shred it up a bit
and pasteurize it.

or you can choose the $70 variant
in which case i'll shred and pasteurize it for ya.

some does, but many of the clumps are very hard, if sun-dried.
i've processed hundreds of pounds both by hand, in the beginning,
then with my chipper/shredder ever since.

you can freeze the pasteurized poo for storage.
gee, a bunch of sandbags since they're half coir -
assuming same size bags i use
i'd guess the 20 pound box would make 8-10,
maybe 12.
as for what's worthwhile,

went back to his ranch this morning,
he was super cool,
i brought a couple shovels and started with them
but he got his bobcat and scooped me up another load-
these are pasture dropping, a little straw and even a bit of dirt[compost actually]
but that's all good!

Word on that dry shit being tuff. I like to harvest my manure a couple days after the rain patties are nice and moist. The bags are heavier and fill quicker but I think the ease of breaking it up is worth it. Hip what kinda shredder do you have? Can it be used for straw too?

i use a leaf blower/mulcher for the straw
and a wood chipper for the poo.
the chipper can do straw
but the mulcher is faster-
got the chipper from Harbor Freight [cheap tools]
leaf blower from Lowe's
