![]() | poo/straw log
so after much reading and researching I still haven't come to an answer that makes sense to me... Could someone please explain why using hpoo in a straw log is a bad idea? What about the environment of a log is so different than a casing tray that would make this hard to do?? |

It is not just a terrible idea. If you use just enough poo to coat the straw then everything will work great. If you use too much poo then you may cause a colonization problem. The mycelium may have problems colonizing tightly packed big clumps of poo, which could lead to contamination.. That is the only problem I have had with poo/straw logs.
