Jars are working now, so I only feel like im 3/4 noob at the moment. In the next few days I'll be putting together my terrarium. I've included a professional grade image of what it will look like, so if my post bores you, at least you'll have something to laugh your ass off at. The whole idea behind this design is to keep it simple. Im hoping I can just let this puppy run and run so I don't have to take the cover off. If Im putting too much water in the tank I'll remove the humidifier from the line and replace it with a check valve. One of my main concerns is whether I should tape the area where the lid meets the tub, I am thinking the constant airflow IN to the tub will negate any small openings there may be at the seam of the lid. Any comments would be helpful. Any rips on my artistic ability are welcome as well.

Well, I would say that reptile humidifier is completely unnecessary. Just fill the bottom of the terrarium with perlite, and then pour water into it until it's filled to a little below the surface of the perlite, and it will keep more than enough humidity in the air well into your grow. As far as your air exchange, I would do the pc case fan trick on one of those tyvek patches.

![]() | Watchful Eye method. That humidifier doesnt have a blower of it's own, It relies on the air pump to move the humid air, Im pretty sure It's not capable of making a huge jump in humidity over a short period of time.

Well if you are going to be keeping a watchful eye then you could just fan it every once in a while and you wouldn't need that stuff. I wouldn't be worried about sudden jumps, more that it will be way too humid, causing too much condensation that could result in puddling and then contams. Just make sure you set it up and run it for a while before birthing so you can get it dialed in. If you get it dialed in it should be pretty cool though I hope it works out good for ya And could you please get a double end casing on that cake? J/K |

![]() | I think it's obvious microsoft paint is kicking my ass to begin with. I'll put my wife on the job for the DeLuxe photoshop version. BTB, if one got a syringe of dead spores from spore works is there any recourse? Anybody?
