    wood chips for wood lovers

FOAF has a tree, maple I think, that has to come out. It's very branchy an will yield lots of chips, 1 yard or more.
What would be the best way to spawn in bulk?
    Should fresh chips be soaked/pastuized?

To prepare the wood chips, soak them overnite in bleach water (1.25 tbsp bleach per gallon.) They do not need to be pasteurized or sterilized.

Also, here's a thread not part of my woodlover tek.
It outlines how to build woodlover blocks in mycobags.
