another casing question?

I've tried the peanut shell casing, it worked,
i've also made a flush off of dry dog food crushed up (fun to try, but no special) but it was moist once it enter the FC
I want to try to use dirt from my backyard. Has anyone tried using dirt from there back yard to make a casing?

I havent tried dirt personally but I hear people have had some sucess. I just alwayz stick to the basics, vern and coir. -Dark

poo+verm+coir+soaken hay mix+rye seads(last top layering, woo mycoclimate)+mist

- This could be just for outdoors tho.. not sure

I have used the store baged dirt once mixed with verm 50/50 it worked ok but it compacted still too much and i had patches where it didnt grow through maybe a 70/30 is worth a try.
IMO the dirts too heavy and can be nutricious as a cassing.
