![]() | Print ID help So, I cleaned up my spore collection and sent ~100g of surplus prints to FSRE with 1€, a self-adressed envelope and a request "Surprise me!". I guess I got what I asked. Three mystery prints. Labeled "2.07 S.Bernardino" A folded foil print in a ziploc bag. A Cubensis strain? Labeled Psi Sub(?). Two prints on orange post it notes in a ziploc bag, biggest print diam. 35mm, largish ellipsoid spores. (No, I do not have a measuring eyepiece.) A woodlover? Labeled P. ?????tinense. A folded foil print in a ziploc bag, I have not opened it yet. Psilocybe? Panaeolus? Pluteus? I thank you people for supporting FSRE and I'm going to give each print a honest try but it sure would help to know the species. |

![]() | The psi-sub may be Psilocybe subaeruginascens? You can see some info on them here: http://forums.mycotopia.net/fungi-gr...ginascens.html

![]() | Could the P. XX(c)XXnens(e) be deciphered to something like P. tocantinense ? Anyone heard of any mushroom with a name like that? (With Google I find mostly soccer references.) Print is about 15mm brownish black and the spores in microscope are middle sized (no measure) ellipsoid or lemon shaped. Anyway, I just knocked up some multispore LC and grain with all three prints just to see if these are viable. (Plenty of spores left for less crude work.) |
