harvested shrooms turning blue

just harvested some b+ invitro and had them under a fan but had to put them up in a can wrapped up in a paper towel they are now turning blue are they still edible or did i mess them up? Have them back under a fan now...

their just bruising. perfectly normal and fine to eat

how long were they in the can?
do you have a pic?
and how dry were they when you put them in there?

Too slow drying will cause em to blue..Initial rapid drydown is best ..If you cannot dry them right away , put them in a paperbag in the fridge but don't freeze..

i also noticed that my invitro mushrooms got more blue than others grown "conventionally."

getting pushed against the glass and then peeled off the cake does a good amount of stress to the shroom, so it will bruise more.

might find the cake gets blue, too; no biggie.
