    Pls Help a Newb...
    23 days after inoculation and 6 out of ten of my jars look like this. Should I wait til all look like this? They seem to be slowing down in the process. Or should I test one by dunking, rolling, and throwing it in a poor man's chamber?

    1 pat myself on the back for a job well done

    2 smoke a doob

    3 open all 6 jars/ wait til the other 4 look like pic

    4. wipe off any uncolonized portions

    5. dunk

    6. fruit however you would like

    7 looks like your 95% of the way twoard your goal

    Hi ShroomNewb, I moved your thread over to the fungi forum for more exposure to the target audience .

    I would start exposing those jars to light to initiate pinning in the jars, and leave the cake in the jar until you see some pins forming. This will prevent the cakes from loosing moisture too early. Lookin good by the way

    Lookin' good! Floppy, roc and feds have good advice, take your pick. My personal preference is to get a few pins in the jar before birthing, but that's just me.

    Or, maybe flop 2, roc 2 and feds 2 and see what you like best. It's fun to play!
