can we recycle potting soil?? to grow shrooms?

hello im a newbie growing shrooms.
I grow organic MJ for quite a while ,and i have a question:
Can we use the potting soil after the harvest of MJ for shrooms??
I use a mix of peat moss , perlite worm castings and bat guano all organic .
Can i use this mix for Bulk?
Imagine i use brf cakes and after a pasteurized the potting soill , just crumble the BRF cakes in that and let it colonize. after this case that whit 50 %coco, 50% verm..... and voila!!!
I think the mix i use has alot of strenght (even after harves)for growing shrooms, and thats all organic!!!
Need some input as i am a newbie on shrooms and reuse the potting soil for the shrooms its fantastic i save alot of money, and optimize my grow!!!
PLUR and overgrow the world whit peace

Some species like P. Cyans can benefit from potting soil added to the bed or tub mixture. This is in the final fruiting mix with straw and woodchips.

On a side note i've had good results with both cubensis and p. cyans on the stalk of cannabis and especially on the rootball fiber. You can make good plug spawn of several species with 2 inch segments of the stalk. If you had an outdoor bed you could inoculate it with these plugs.

You can have success with spawning to used potting soil. FOAF has used pasturized soil from her garden in a pinch to spawn to and got some nice fruits. To her though it seems that straw/compost/peat/verm/etc. mixtures work a bit better though. Good luck and keep us posted as to how you do!
