![]() | Ok...the deal..... A foaf has a nice size cake that has black death in on small area but the rest of the cake is healthy (Even pinninng)Cake is not fully colo'd yet. Should he open container and cut out black death and put in FC? OR Leave cake in container and go Invitro? Last Q's..... Is it bad to open a container that has a cake with black death? Can this affect future grows?

![]() ![]() ![]() | Most likely that black mold is more extensive than what you can see from the outside of the container. When you open it do it outside and wear a mask. You don't want to breathe that shit in! You can assess the damage once open much better. Or you can just toss it, it's up to you. That looks like a good sized container and you may be able to salvage some of it but it will be risky. Good luck |

![]() | A foaf has taken the cake outside opened the container and cut out all the uncolo'd part and black death area. The cake did have the nice shroomy smell to it so the cake was put in a secluded forest area for fruiting. 1 Q though... Does black death have an unusual smell? Cause nothing outta the ordinary was noticed but the black colour, the cake (after cutting out contam)smelled like a healthy cake. Tanx :P
