b+ fruiting cakes have little spot of green

hi , there went to fan pf style b+ cakes have two cakes fully blooming ,one with a very light hint of blue in one small spot about 1/2 inch in diameter. the other cake has several smaller fruit with a darker greenis blue about same diameter. will post pics as soon as i can find cord for camera. the one cake with the light hue of green just produced a 6" fruit i just harvested do you think it is good?

The fruit should be fine to eat, trich is harmless to humans. That is, if it is trich. No way to tell without the pics.

should i pull cakes out of terranium and chuck them or is it alright to wait a little bit and see if it spreads?

I would quarantine the ones you think may be contamed yes, but like I said without pics there's no way to tell if they have trich or are just bluing due to dehydration.

kinda hard to tell from the pic, but that looks like bluing to me, not trich.

if it's just bruising, it won't spread like a contam. It's cause from drying, or touching the cake too hard; damage.

When you pick your fruits they may blue/bruise too. It's ok.

You can take a q-tip and gently "rub" the spot on the cake. If the q-tip comes up clean it's more than likely bruising/bluing. If it has color on it, it's more than likely a contam.

I'm with merm, that cake looks fine to me, just a little bluing of the myc.

IME trich is not bluish at all. It is more 3 dementional,
kida lumpy and mean looking. When you see it you will know it.
