Can you dunk even after fruiting has begun?

3 of my cakes look extremely dry, no matter what I do... Two of them have some pinning, and one actually looks like it is drying out and dieing. Can I re-dunk these without causing catastrophic damage, or is it better to ride it out and see what happens?

Great... I was hoping I could... they were starting to look rough and the pins seem like they stalled out.

I finally found a local place that sells coir too, so I might try casing a couple and see what happens.

Thought someone here(mycotopia) had said to try 50/50 coir/verm... That sound like a good starting point.
