how long from first pin to last?

so a friend of mine has 12 half pint cakes in his fruiting chamber. there were all innoc, dunk n rolled, and fruited at the same time. the DnR was done to kick start pinning after they had been birthed prematurely without it. 3 days ofter the DnR his first pin appeared, 2 days later now he has several. many cakes have none. his question is; for how many days will new pins start to form until it gets to the point where he can't expect any more to show? thanks
