| i cant se a sighn of mycelium even with a strong magnifying glass, i mean is there supposed to be something, a lil white hair at least, could i overheat the spores since i sterilized the niddle with flame, l iet it cool down for 5 secs on average and then relised 3 drops, but once the third drop fell on wy hand and it was warm, for sure over +35C, but i did 4 holls a jar and flamed the niddle only between the jars, so at least one hole is to be all right, but i see no changings

| Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaasyyyyyyyy paco - it can take up to a week to see signs of growth. However, from what you say on injection, I would be paranoid - 35+ celcius is 95+ farenheigt and that's close to death temp at around 106. The best way to inject is to flame sterilize a needle and then shoot a little spore solution out of the needle to cool it (there's no concern as the solution should be sterile). And don't worry, I've shot the stuff all over my house and have yet to get my walls to colonize from the radom overzealous overshot - though it would be cool to see mushrooms on the ceiling. While jars can be put almost anywhere for germination - I do it in a closet, no heater, no nothing; door's open so it gets light sometimes - it is best, however, to keep a stable temp during incubation, regardless of whether your incubation temp is 18-28 C, you should be OK as long as it stays consistent. I keep mine at around 21-22, room temp, if you will. If you don't see any growth in 4 days, I'd get worried; until then, science, baby. |

| ok yesterday, before i put this thread i took a look only at three jars of six and after thet i noticed lil white aureoles arround rise pieces in the other three jars, those jars were innoculated with another syringe (i marked the jars and the syrenges) but it is the same strain and from the same dealler (they came in one pack); and this morning i noticed very small white spot in one of the other three jars, so spores from the different syringes take different time to germenate, is it ok? |

| More Spores = faster germination. If you shoot the same amount of solutions in each jar but a couple squirts may have had more spores, that jar may germinate faster. It usually takes 4-5 days to show signs of growth. Patience is key in this hobby. Good luck.

| heh actualy, i injected more from the first syringe (1.5 cc on average), there was a lot of air in it so it was difficult to control the ammount (i didn't want to let thet air out to be able to shake the syringe before the next innoculation, without sucking dirty air in) so by the next syrenge i allready had some expirience and did 1cc each jar, or even a bit less |

| more heat = faster germination, more spores = faster colonization a slight but significant difference.
