Thanks, ya I need some longer syringes but right now I only got what my spores came in. glad to know that I have germination ,only in three outta ten jars but I just looked at some other jars I nocked up with a home made goliath syringe and there goin way faster than the others. the homade was made 4 days ago and is way more colonized than the ones in the picture which were nocked on the 18th

Ya, it's one of the reasons I find the low-form 1/2 pints easier to work with. It tends to take quite a while for the myc to travel all the way to the bottom of the taller jars.

Quick update my goliath jars are almost 100% clonized and I am scramling to find a casing I am thinking of going with 50/50 potting soil and verm but I'm not sure about my potting soil here are the ingredients:

Mushroom compost (which I thought was a very good sign)
    composted manures (also seems ideal)
    peat humus
    bark fines
    sand
    perlite
    dolomite limestone

It all sounds good, but I'm not sure about the limestone any input would be appreciated thank you

eh, it's useable but wouldn't be my first choice.
mix that verm 50/50 with coir is my advice.

hydrate the coir with boiling water, mix 50/50 with verm
and you're good to go. mycellia loves coir so you can use a little deeper casing layer than you could with pure verm casing. about 1/2 inch deep is good.
